Bastion Bistro – Food, events and meetings in the heart of Suomenlinna
We are located only a short walk from the island's main ferry pier, in a unique former infantry barracks built in 1892. Housed within is our elegant restaurant serving delicious bistro fare. We also offer a variety spaces to book for events: a banquet room for parties, two meeting rooms (for 12 persons each) and a traditional Finnish sauna (for 8 persons). Our terrace garden area offers a unique sea view towards the Helsinki skyline, and is fully covered from the elements.
Restaurant Bastion Bistro offers tasty bistro dishes
Bastion Bistro is open throughout the year. Our menu focuses on uncomplicated but tasty bistro dishes: a combination of French tradition with Finnish ingredients. Pizza and burgers are also available. The restaurant is wheelchair-accessible and features a childcare room. Well-behaved pets are warmly welcome!
